A Boy and His Dog, Part 2
One of our activities was introducing Stitch to Matthew. Stitch has been really good. He likes to lick Matthew's face whenever we've taken him somewhere. I think he's making sure it's the same baby that we left with! Stitch likes to check out anyone who comes by to see Matthew. He sleeps near the baby at night, keeping an eye on him and us.

I've heard that dogs do that in the wild as a social gesture to figure out if other dogs (or people, in this case) have had something to eat. I personally think it's gross, but at least your son will build up good immunity!
I love the o face so much, it was my favorite when Elyas was a newborn. Your blog is making me get all teary eyed. I'm so glad you were able to make things legal and get make a forever family. :)
