Bruins Rolling Rally

Sure, Saturdays are good for sleeping in or taking naps.

But when you are a diehard Bruins fan, and the Stanley Cup has come back to Boston for the first time since you were born, you get up early, brave the crowds and roads and head to town.

And if you are Nick, you take 585 pictures!

And them you relax before heading home.

Checkup

Matthew had his 15 month appointment today. He is 32" tall (84%) and 23 lbs (56%). He also had to get a few more shots, but was quite the trooper!

Ice Cream and Children's Museum

I was feeling brave, so I decided to take Matthew to get ice cream at the Jimmy Fund event, and then head over to the Children's Museum.

We ate a lot of ice cream. It was a really hot day, so it all tasted pretty good.

I wasn't sure how Matthew would do at the museum, but he did great! He had a lot of fun in the construction zone.

In the kids play area he was asked to participate in a study on play. He did, and then went right back to his shopping cart. We also checked out the Wizard of Oz exhibit. He loved making the tornado spin. Mostly because he loves turning wheels.

Bruins!

We had Bruins fever. We headed on down to Boston when Game 3 was played at home.

Matthew caught the attention of everyone. Including all the camera men from all the stations.

The Sedin Sisters complete with roller skates and a sense of humor.

Stores showed their support all over.

After seeing Paul Revere sporting a Bruins jersey, Matthew and Daddy posed for a picture.

With all the Bruins fans, the Canuck fans couldn't get a picture. There was always someone willing to photo bomb with a Bruins something, even if it was just the free sign given away. In fact, overheard was "If you wanted a picture without a Bruins fan, you should've gone to Vancouver!" It was all great fun, and we had a blast!
