Under Construction

My blog is not aesthetically pleasing right now. I am changing that.

The Maine Drive

So, Sunday dawned rainy and gloomy (like most of June). What else could we do but go for a drive after church?

I looked out the window

And what did I see? Why, the tomato plant we bought Monday!

Isn't it purdy? I love the smell....

A Clean Dog

It is never easy to wash the dog. Usually, he runs away, and of course gets Nick and I both all wet. But, being able to give him a bath outside in the yard was so much easier. Of course, Stitch still hated it and Nick still ended up covered in water.

Strawberry Pickin'

There's nothing like freshly picked strawberries.

Except maybe fresh strawberries with cream for breakfast, and fresh strawberry ice cream.

I love the new farm we found. They have different things to pick all summer long. For those with children, they also have a small petting farm, and welcome children. You can check them out here.

Ikea

I've posted zilch lately. I've been working too hard, and too many hours. We had one girl quit, and then another had to leave for a week on a family emergency. Which left 2 and 2 trainees who can't work alone yet. Yuck!

So, here's my filler pictures:

Ikea has been one of my favorite places to shop for the house. From the bed frame, to our bookcases, I find Ikea to have the best value. The pieces are study, and easy to build. In fact, in the first picture is a dresser (we have 2), bedside table (again 2), and bed all from Ikea. The absolute best reason to shop at Ikea? I have no designing sense at all, and Ikea makes it easy to match my furniture together.
