Why? Because that is my bathroom light switch on the INSIDE of the bathroom! It's not a common thing in Massachusetts. This is actually the only house we saw with the light on the inside.
I know what you mean, and rooms with no ceiling lights was another one... When we bought our house the only ceiling lights were in the kitchen and bathroom.
During our "remodel," we asked the contractor to put our bathroom switch on the inside. He looked at us like we were absolutely crazy and we had to assure him that we really really wanted to. Weird.

Yeah, we still have a lot of rooms with no ceiling lights.
